This course will instruct students to the level of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). This course complies with the required course content for the state of California and the curriculum consists of the required U.S. Department of Transportation EMT-Basic National Standard Curriculum. The course includes all skills necessary for the individual to provide emergency medical care at a basic life support level with an ambulance service or other specialized service. Upon successful completion the student will be eligible to take the National Registry Exam required for certification as an EMT in the state of California.
